Robot R349 Exposes Social Chairs: "I Write the WOT"

R349 was hired in November by Schilling to write the weekly WOT

Hanover, NH: In a chilling allegation of plagiarism, a robot has stepped forward to accuse the social chairs of exploiting his writing talents without acknowledgement.

R349, a late model Siemens writing bot, has been composing the WOT since early November 2006, when Charlie Schilling and Brooke Szostak took over the writing duties.  Friends of the social chairs commented that the pressure of entertaining their classmates each week with a humorous email was just too much to bear.  So the pair hired a robot to do the work for them.
R349 alleges that Andrea Perez played no part in designing this fantastic logo.

The format of the WOT instantly changed.  Goodbye subtle humor, 2 point font, and links to hilarious Tuck minutiae.  Hello professional HTML and simple cut-and-paste jobs.

Rob Langrick T'06 spoke with the Tuck Profit about the allegations.  "The T'07 social chairs, Marc and Whitney, did an outstanding job trying to be as funny as me.  Only a Brit like Tony Hanlon or Stephen Pidgeon could have done better.  And now the T'08's go out and hire a robot?  Bloody hell!"  Officials in Admissions have confirmed that Langrick has submitted an application to join the class of 2009.

The Judicial Board is currently weighing appropriate responses to the allegation.  "Tuck's Honor Code is pretty fuzzy about artificial intelligence," said Ted Callahan, "but we're working on it."
