Schaefer to Start Ticket Brokerage |
|
T’08 Joel Schaefer recently used his project for the Intro to
Entrepreneurship class to start a business as a concert ticket broker.
The project review process raised concern for association with so-called
"scalpers." Schaefer balks saying "Ticket brokering is a legitimate
business frequented by classy people looking to get hard to find tickets

Schaefer brings distinct resources and capabilities to the Upper Valley.
"I have an inside line to the concert ticket brokering business because
I interned with Harrah’s in Las Vegas this summer. I’m trying to use my
connections to get some front row Celine Dion tickets to round out my
ticket profile." When asked about his plans to increase distribution,
Schaefer said "I’ll go as far as spamming the classes will take me."

Insiders tell us that Schaefer's initial Elton
John offering generated substantial interest within the Tuck community.
"I plan on using this data to secure Angel Investment," Schaefer said.
Schaefer was recently spotted chatting with T'07 and Upper Valley mogul
Errik Anderson about trading funding for a pair of 3rd row Hannah
Montana tickets, but only if they're center section. |
