Drawing on his encyclopedic knowledge of pasta, Luca Rigano
T’08 of Italy dominated Operations Management this morning. In a
truly rousing performance, he rattled off and correctly
pronounced every known type of pasta SKU that Barilla SpA
struggles to distribute just in time to its customers. After his
classmates picked off the low hanging fruit such as ziti and
penne, Luca charged ahead by boldly naming conchiglie,
gnocchetti, orecchiette, sedani, sorpese, and tripolini.
Professor Terry Taylor was so impressed that he personally
thanked Mr. Rigatoni for his class contribution. |
